According to the city center of Budapest, the building was built in 1885 by architect Zsigmond Quittner plans. The building was originally a town house, the ground floor was opened in 1887 at the Central Café. The building renovation was completed in 2000. After a complete renovation of the five-storey building has been constructed floors of first class rental office, while almost the entire ground floor and the basement of the Central Café on site.
